Dr Ahmad Moolla

Specialist Registrar and Clinical Research Fellow, Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism, University of Oxford

Ahmad is a Specialist Registrar and Clinical Research Fellow in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Oxford. His undergraduate training was undertaken at Imperial College London from where he holds a BSc in Pharmacology and Toxicology and graduated in Clinical Medicine with Distinction. As part of his postgraduate clinical training, he has held NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowships at Imperial College London and at Bart’s and the London School of Medicine to pursue research in diabetes, obesity and metabolism. He also has considerable experience in medical education and clinical leadership, holding a Masters in Education (MEd), and between 2010-11 worked at the Department of Health as a Clinical Advisor to the National Medical Director for the NHS in England where his portfolio included work on quality improvement and clinical leadership programmes within the NHS.
